History of Kumu and Halau:
I have been teaching hula for 32 plus proud years.
I have taught Hula in the Portland Public School District as a volunteer.
In the TAG PROGRAM I taught the Hawaiian Culture.
I also taught Hula through the Portland Parks and Recreation Programs since the early 1980's.
The Halau has performed at Big Kahuna's following the St John's Parade
